While elastics cause hair damage and breakage, these well made scrunchies provide that extra layer of protection with the additional fabric. Plus these work as fun accessories for your wrist if you need to make sure you have a hair tie wherever you are.
They can be wrapped around hair once or twice depending on your hair thickness. Each hair tie is double stitched, and made from repurposed fabric with a durable, thick inner elastic. Because they are upcycled, scrunchies will vary on the width and length of fabric used however each scrunchie is approximately 8 inches around before stretch.

How It's Made
This was piece was thrifted by Eco Pretty (a Guelph based female-owned business) and then they use eco-friendly ink with their custom designs to stain (not screen on - it won't peel off!) the design in the fabric. They even re-use old file folders to make new stencils and integrate sustainability and zero-waste production in every level of creation. Each design is handmade and will be unlike any other piece.
