How to Use:
These push-up style tubes don't have the turning mechanism nor the ability to be retracted that the plastic tubes do, so they do take a little getting used to.
If the lip balm is cold, it mat be difficult to push up. If you are having difficulty pushing up the product try warming it with the heat of your hands.
We recommend pushing up the outer edge of the bottom disc and once the product moves, then carefully pushing up from the center.

Packaged in a compostable paperboard tube with zero plastic!
This lip balm is made using only natural, and mainly organic ingredients. We are proud to be able to offer our lip balm in a stick format, without any plastic packaging.
Our lip balm tubes are made using recycled paper. The paper tubes are biodegradable and compostable.
Each tube is labelled with recycled paper, then stamped by hand - this reduces our plastic footprint as we don’t use any stickers in labelling. It also makes each lip balm unique in its packaging.
Koaino Soaps started operating in 2014. We began with a few bar soaps but by 2015 we started making lip balm. Our recipe was very well received by our customers and quickly became one of our most popular items.
Koaino Soaps is a one-women business, owned and operated by Rebecca. The reason for beginning the business was to provide all natural handmade
products for our family.
Our family has always been eco-conscious. But, after the birth of our first daughter in 2014, it became more and more apparent that plastic, especially single-use plastic was polluting our oceans and planet at an alarming rate!
We continued to produce our lip balms in plastic tubes until we found a supplier that was able to work with us and provide a quality product that was
In the fall of 2018 we launched our lip balm (same recipe as before) but in a plastic free recycled paper tube. It took a while to find the right
supplier, but we are glad we stuck it out.
In 2018, we committed to switching all our packaging to plastic-free and since January 2019, our products are all packaged plastic-free.
The demand for our unique eco products has been overwhelming. This demand has allowed us to grow from a small local family business that sells
exclusively at farmers markets to a province wide supplier of zero-waste natural products. More than anything we are so happy that there are so many
people concerned about reducing their single-use plastic consumption.
We are so happy to be part of the change for a better world for the next
