Our Founder Robyn Hobbs Is Nominated For Kitchener-Waterloo Women Of The Year

Robyn Hobbs has been nominated in the Professional (under 40) category. This is for dedicating herself to the pursuit of excellence in her career. The Professional Award is presented to a woman whose achievement in her vocational field has brought distinction to herself, her business and the community. This award reflects a high level of commitment to professional growth and personal pride in her work.

Here's a candid behind the scenes shot from the photoshoot for nominees April 28, 2023 at Proof Kitchen + Lounge in Waterloo.

Robyn is showing off her stylist skills since she did a shoe change on a rainy day for the photoshoot, and they hilariously caught her mid shoe change.

The 2023 Women of the Year Awards Ceremony will take place on Thursday, May 25 at 7:30pm in the Ballroom at Bingemans Conference Centre, 425 Bingemans Centre Drive, Kitchener. Doors open at 6pm. You can learn more, and get tickets here.

ABOUT THE AWARDS

The Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest Rogers Women of the Year awards ceremony was started in 1975 and has been an annual tradition in our community ever since.

The ceremony recognizes and pays tribute to outstanding women in the community.

Residents of the Region are encouraged to nominate their choice for Women of the Year and enjoy this evening with these distinguished women. Nominees can be someone who is involved in the community, an inspiration to others, a motivational person, someone who embraces change or demonstrates initiative, someone who recognizes and confirms success in others, or someone who touches people’s lives in a more quiet and compassionate way.

Women of the Year are inclusive of all women, non-binary, transgender, two-spirited, women of all classes, races, sexualities, ableness, and identities. KWO Women of the Year is for all women.
