Le Prix has been around since 2012, as a rack in my undergrad student bedroom.
Into a roommate’s room when they moved out earlier than me. I moved it around with me as I did my Master's in Environmental Studies and researched why people shop second hand for fashion (you can find that info on Le Prix’s sustainability page if you’re curious).
Le Prix had its own room in my first townhouse I bought with my boyfriend… now my husband!
Then I had a storefront on Queen St N in Downtown Kitchener with Encompass Health and Wellness clinic… and opened months before the Pandemic and construction to beautify Queen Street.
I eventually moved Le Prix to Park Street in Waterloo by @goldleafbotanicalsshop since developers bought the building and we had to move. I loved that spot for a couple years and then had my daughter Luna and realized a storefront was not my dream anymore.
I want the flexibility to travel and curate, work one on one with my clients (so many of you kept asking when I’d be back in-store!), and easily have Luna around.

I moved Le Prix home with 3 days to get out of the space 🙈 with a 6 month old baby. I couldn’t have done that without my village. 😮💨 I converted the basement into the store, and then a year later we decided to move and get our new house in Westvale (still Waterloo!).
Now Le Prix is set up in a way that works wonderfully, and gives the character and experience you love at Le Prix. I still have more plans to grow and create (I’m an entrepreneur and artist… I can’t turn off my creative ideas!), but enjoying the season of life I’m in.
