Handmade in Canada, these white pure felted wool dryer balls save time and money. The balls absorb moisture in your dryer and bounce around creating air circulation between your clothing. They eliminate the need for dryer sheets and fabric softener.

Handmade in Norfolk County, Ontario

Materials

100% corriedale wool

How To Use

  • Toss all 3 wool balls in your dryer (6 for large dryers)
  • Simply store them in your dryer between loads

Keep Your Clothes Smelling Fresh

Add a few drops of your favourite essential oil to each wool ball, rub them together. The scent will fade over 2-3 loads (depending on the temperature).

We recommend using 3 for a normal-sized load and 6 for bulky items.

Benefits

Softer clothes that dry faster with fewer wrinkles and static cling

Reducing drying time (by up to 30%), they save on electricity and preserve the lifespan of your clothing

Free of harmful chemicals, toxins, carcinogens, perfumes or dyes, they are safe for those with asthma, eczema, sensitive skin, and allergies.

Durable, reusable, and compostable, they naturally soften over 1000+ loads of laundry.

Sustainably Sourced & Cruelty Free Wool

Recyclable paper packaging

Made in Canada

They only work with Wool Cooperatives where the fleece is milled locally, reducing the carbon footprint. The finest wool comes from regions with a cool climate and high altitude where the sheep roam freely throughout the year.

The white wool is currently sourced from ranches in Montana & Wyoming

We are careful to only source wool from farms that never practice mulesing. Most importantly, the sheep live free-range and are never exposed to chemicals including sheep dips. The sheep are raised for their wool, not to eat.

Time To Send Your Wool Balls Out To Pasture?

Wool is biodegradable so it can be planted in your garden as mulch to hold moisture. As they decompose, they add nutrients to the soil. Or just hang them outside for birds to collect the wool to build their nests.

The Brand

Handmade in Norfolk County, Ontario

Moss Creek Wool Works was born out of a desire for a more sustainable life and a passion for handmade products. Our roots trace back to Farmers Markets and Craft shows. A true community-based company, our original “production team" was a group of stay-at-home parents felting during school hours.

Soon we started to connect with local stores who helped us reach new consumers and wider markets. As wool dryer balls started to gain traction, we realized it was time to set up a workshop and a full-time team of Felters. Today, our wool dryer balls are sold across North America, Italy, UK, Sweden and even in Australia the home of Merino sheep.

Wool can be a finicky material and felting it combines both Science and Art. Once mastered, the learning doesn’t end as every batch of wool has its own personality and needs to be handled differently.

We try to use locally sourced wool and are always on the lookout for farms raising heritage sheep, bred for their wool rather than meat. If you are a wool producer with long fiber fleece or roving, we welcome the opportunity to use your wool.
